Find the name of the template in Joomla!

To find the name of the template used by your Joomla! site, use the function getTemplate($params=false) of the JApplication Class.

Params:
$params
An optional associative array of configuration settings.
Return:
The template name. System is the fallback. 
 
// Return : The template name. System is the fallback.
JFactory::getApplication()->getTemplate($params=false);
 
Example 1:
$app =& JFactory::getApplication();
$template = $app->getTemplate();
 
Example 2:
$template = JFactory::getApplication()->getTemplate($myParams);

To find the name of the template used by your Joomla! site, use the function getTemplate() of the JApplication Class.
